History
Parle Company was established in the year 1929. This company was under British rule. Parle company was started in a small factory in Mumbai and its production was also done from here. The production of Parle Glucose Biscuit was started in 1938, at that time it was known as Glucose Biscuit. Then in the year 1982 its name was changed to Parle-G. In earlier decades, the cover of this biscuit used to have a cow and a shepherd but later it was removed and replaced with a picture of a girl. Similarly, Parle company started launching many products, this product included things like toffees, chocolates, biscuits and snacks.
