India’s First Rapidx Train | Rapid Transit System (RRTS)

 

Rapidx Train has been Inaugurated in India by Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Speed of the Rapidx Train is 180 kilometers per hour and it will Operate at a normal Speed of 150 to 160 kilometers per hour. The Rapidx Train has been Designed in Hyderabad and Manufactured in Gujarat. The Rapidx Train has been named Namo Bharat Train. PM has inaugurated the 17 km long Namo Bharat Train running from Sahibabad to Duhai on Delhi – Meerut Line under the Rapid Rail Transit System. However, the work on 82 km Line of Delhi – Meerut Route will be Completed in June 2024. This Project Started in March 2019. This Project Costs approximately Rs 30,000 Crore.

Rapid Transit System (RRTS)

Rapidx Train will have 6 Coaches, One Coach will be Reserved only for Women.

There will be a Luggage Compartment inside the Train.

CCTV Cameras will be installed inside the Train.

The Train will also have Wi-Fi facility and Charging.

The Train will Operate for Passengers from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm.

The Standard Coach of the Rapidx Train has 72 seats and the Premium Coach has 62 seats.

Train Doors will Open only upon reaching the Station.

To buy Tickets, Passengers will be able to buy Tickets from Ticket Vending Machine, Rapid ex Connect app and Ticket Counter.

Space will be reserved for Stretchers and Wheelchairs in the last Coach of the Train.

3 Delhi – Panipat 103 km

4 Delhi – Bahadurgarh – Rohtak

5 Delhi – Faridabad – Ballabhgarh – Palwal

6 Delhi – Shahdara – Baraut

7 Ghaziabad – Khurja

8 Ghaziabad – Hapur
